Yes, you can file RTI application to know the recorded reason for the delay in releasing home loan subsidy amount from State Bank of India. It is public sector banking and financial services statutory body. It is a government corporation statutory body headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It came into existence on July 1, 1955 after the nationalization of Imperial Bank of India. Hence, it is a Public Authority under section 2 (h) of the RTI Act 2005 and application can be made under 2 (f) and 6(1) with requisite payment of fees. The RTI application can be made to the designated PIO of the branch which issued the home loan or on the national portal for RTI. The applicant must mention the loan account number.

To file application for the same you can refer https://onlinerti.com/

Hi All,

I tried to create a account with rtionline.gov.in but I have not received the activation code to the registered email Id. I tried from different browsers Chrome, Firefox and IE but no activation code. I wrote to rtionline.gov.in via the Feedback form but no replies still. How should I take this forward ?

Regards,
Dinesh
