Yes, Rti can be filed to Assam sanskrit board for copy of exam paper. With the promulgation of the Assam Sanskrit Education Act in 1957, this Board was set up in Guwahati on 4th Dec, 1987. In the year 1973 it began functioning in its present multi-storeyed building with an enchanting dignity of its own with all amenities. It conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
Hence, it is a Public Authority under section 2(h) and is liable to provide information under section 2 (f) and 6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 to the designated PIO.
