Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) was established on 7th September,1970 under the provisions of Maharashtra Prevention of Water Pollution Act,1969. MPCB functions under the administrative control of Environment Department of the Government of Maharashtra. MPCB is a "Public Authority" as per Section 2 (h) of the RTI Act 2005.
You can file the RTI application addressing it to the designated "Public Information Officer (PIO)" and by paying the prescribed fee.
