RTI TO MAHARASHTRA POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD.

  • MAHARASHTRA POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD IS COLLECTING BANK GUARANTEES FOR 12MONTH PERIOD ACROSS INDUSTRIAL AREA IN MAHARASHTRA TO PENALIZE INDUSTRIES FOR NON COMPLIANCE. AFTER ISSUING BGS ; INDUSTRIES HAVE TO COMPLY NORMS SET BY MPCB WITHIN TIME FRAME OF 12 MONTHS. ONCE INDUSTRY COMPLY ALL NORMS ;SAME BG SHOULD BE RELEASED BY MPCB AND NOC MUST BE ISSUED TO INDUSTRY BEFORE EXPIRY OF BG I.E.12MONTHS SO THAT BGS WILL BE LIQUIDATED. BUT IT IS OBSERVED THAT MPCB IS COLLECTING SAMPLES ONLY AND NOT INTERESTED IN RELEASING BGS EVEN AFTER COMPLIANCE DONE BY INDUSTRIES. WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION CAN BE FILED FOR UNDER RTI TO EXPOSE THIS CORRUPTION?
