RTI regarding parking space
I am employee of a company who had taken office space on lease in a commercial building. Issue is there is always parking space issue, builder\developer inspite of having lot of space in premises is not permiting to park and insisting to park outside on government road means no parking zone. Need to know is it mandatory for developers to construct or develop a commercial building in such a manner that all its offices occupied by employee gets parking facility.
The department/authority through which the land has been acquired and the one which frames rules regarding building plans is a public authority and the RTI Act is applicable to it.
You could obtain information relating tO the building laws vis a vis parking slots in commercial plots, the policy sanctioning building plans wuṭh designated parking area, the existing rules regarding area to be kept for parking at the time of giving approvals and other relevant policy details.
